Main Days
CLOSER TO TEA
Closer to its origins. Closer to its craft. Closer to the people behind it. Closer together.
Main Days · 7 & 8 November 2026 · 11:00–19:00 · silent green Kulturquartier
For two days, the world of tea comes together in Berlin – to taste, discover, exchange and reconnect.
Around 70 carefully selected exhibitors bring high-quality teas, teaware and craft to silent green. About half are joining BTF for the first time in 2026. At the same time, even more tea growers and producers are travelling directly from the regions of origin – bringing their teas, first-hand experience and personal perspectives on cultivation and production. This reflects BTF 2026’s focus on getting closer to origin while keeping quality at the centre.
With the official BTF Tasting Cup, taste your way through an exceptionally broad world of tea. Around 55 workshops, talks, tea ceremonies, tastings, film screenings and other programme formats across the Kino and Ateliers invite you to learn, take part, exchange ideas and go deeper. The programme is expected to go online on 15 September.
And between all the tasting and discovery, there is what has made BTF a fixed date in the year for many: seeing old tea friends again, meeting new people and experiencing tea together.
No prior knowledge needed. Curiosity is enough. Raise your cup!
Berlin International Tea Conference
VOICES OF TEA
6 November 2026 · 10:00–19:00 · Betonhalle, silent green Kulturquartier
One day for the people shaping the tea industry.
In its 6th edition, the Berlin International Tea Conference brings producers, brands, traders, buyers, speciality retailers, hospitality, F&B, media and tea professionals from different parts of the industry together in Berlin.
Under the 2026 theme Voices of Tea, the conference gives space to perspectives from tea-growing regions, production, trade, retail, hospitality, culture and the wider market – not to create one single story of tea, but to bring different experiences, questions and ideas into direct conversation.
Across the Tea Gallery, Main Stage and focused discussion and networking formats, BITC combines international tea origins, tastings, market perspectives, professional knowledge and practical B2B exchange. Meet producers and potential partners, hear first-hand perspectives, discuss quality, sourcing, sustainability and changing markets – and make connections that can continue beyond the conference day.
For everyone working professionally with tea – or looking to build meaningful connections within the international tea industry.
Berlin Tea Week
TEA ACROSS THE CITY
1–5 November 2026 · across Berlin
For five days, tea moves out into the city.
During Berlin Tea Week, tea houses, cafés, restaurants, studios, cultural spaces, brands, artists and independent hosts create their own events across Berlin – from tastings and workshops to collaborations, pop-ups, art, food and experimental formats.
The idea is simple: different places, different voices, one shared week of tea culture.
You choose your format, venue and audience. Confirmed events become part of the official Berlin Tea Week programme and connect with the wider Berlin Tea Festival week.
